

As a full-time student, F1 visa holders take 20 hours of in-person classes per week. Students take 3 classes per day, Monday through Thursday.

Each of our classes is divided by skill level, allowing for smaller class sizes and more personalized instruction. Students will be enrolled in classes depending on their current English levels and class size.
Please be aware that not all class schedules are available at all times. We will consider the schedule you request (day or evening), but we cannot guarantee it as it will depend on your current English levels and class size.

Tuition - Students do not need to pay for their full program upfront. Instead, they can choose to pay weekly, per term, or per session.
12-week Session Payments: $2,385 or 4-week Term Payments: $795 or 1-week Weekly Payments: $210
*COS Students will receive a $75 discount on the first 3-term tuition payments of their program.

Colorado School of English is an open enrollment school.
We have start dates every month.
Once a change of status is approved by USCIS, students are required to start at the next available start date or within 30 days (whichever occurs first). So students need to be prepared to start classes once they receive an approval notice

Students can choose how long they would like to study at CSE. Depending on their current English level, they can study with us for up to 3 years in order to reach their English language goals.
Students pass from one level to the next after one session, depending on their academic standing.

Pay the CSE application fees.
Receive the acceptance letter and I-20.
Submit a Change of Status (COS) application to USCIS at https://www.uscis.gov/i-539 and pay their associated fees,
When an approval notice is received from USCIS, students must start classes at the next available start date.
Attend Orientation Day and take the placement test to determine your current English levels.
Start classes and receive your Active I-20.
Provide a legible and valid copy of the student's passport
Provide a copy of your current I-94
Provide a copy of your current Visa
Provide a Bank Statement - to prove funding for tuition and living expenses.
- For example, for a 12-month program, the bank statement needs to show $22,000.
- For example, for a 12-month program with 1 dependent, the bank statement needs to show $34,620.
Per USCIS regulations, students must be able to attend all classes in person.
